Edinburgh 2009 was another exciting year. As in 2007 we presented 3 World Premieres, 2 Edinburgh Premieres and 1 Revival. Guy Masterson directed 2 of the world premieres (Austen's Women and Morecambe) while also appearing in Tim Whitnall's dark comedy The Sociable Plover alongside Ronnie Toms - while Tim also wrote Morecambe! Justin Butcher returned for one gala performance of his 2008 smash hit Scaramouche Jones in Assembly's magnificent Music Hall and also directed the World Premieres of Zia Trench's political work The State We're In - about Brian Haw, and his own reflections on the current issues in Palestine - Go To Gaza, Drink The Sea...
So... once again a strong programme of simply UNMISSABLE THEATRE
